Having a babe!

It has been a while since posting and I thought I should finally document probably the biggest thing that has happened in my life aside from marrying my best friend! The Mr. and I are expecting our first little bundle of joy this May. We are not finding out what we are having and this has caused many sleepless nights laboring (haha) about the nursery and how to make it neutral yet very special. Well finally we decided on green! Here is my inspiration board:



We have actually bought our crib (thanks to the Mr.'s Mommy) and a long dresser (not from PB but from Babies R Us) and will be picking it up this weekend! I originally loved the polka dot green window panels at PB but have decided to go with gingham instead. As for the glider we fell in love with one at Buy Buy Baby and need to go order that asap too. I am trying to decide between gingham or white fabric for the chair! I think the biggest (not essential) item to splurge on for the nursery will be the rug. I really love this rug and currently our carpet is a dark green and I think this will just lighten everything up perfectly. Unfortunately I have not been able to bring myself to order it yet because I know we need so many important things and I should be using that $300 bucks on stuff for the actual baby. We will see. I will have to decide soon to make sure it arrives in time. Money has been on our mind a lot lately as we are also car shopping. The Mr. has really stepped up on this task and I cannot be more confident in the fact that we will get a great car for the absolute best price. He has done alot of homework and we will be able to truly make an informed decision and hopefully get a great deal. More on that and other fun baby news to come!
