VEGAS baby!

I have been gone from the blogging world for a week and a half now because i was in VEGAS! Yup that's right! I actually got back 4 days ago but have been catching up on life and work so I didnt have time to post. Now it wasnt as crazy of a trip as you might expect. I went to Vegas for a week with the Mr.'s family and we actually stayed 7 of the 8 nights in a house in Summerlin Las Vegas about 30 min from the strip.

We left Friday afternoon and stayed Friday night at the Signature at MGM Grand. We originally booked at the MGM but received an upgrade to a super nice new Signature Room. Here is what our room looked like:

We spent Saturday at the pool at the Signature and just recovered from our flight.

It was very quiet and relaxing and they had yummy bar drinks. My drink of choice was an Orange Basil Mojito.

Saturday afternoon we checked out and made the move to our guest house in Summerlin. My mother-in-law works for a home builder and one of the perks of her job is that she is allowed use of a guest house in a few different resort areas across the country. The homes are beautiful and it is always a great time. This is my fourth guest house trip (1-Vegas, 2- Palm Springs, 3-Naples, 4-Vegas again!) Here are some lovely pics of the house:
